Struts

This particular type of support can be used in various fields as a support element in traction and compression when the dynamic loads need to be reduced. The ends are made in such a way so that they can be easily welded to collars or metal frames in any position. The Ca.S.T.Im 2000 struts can be used as a pipe guide by replacing expensive metal frames. The ends of the struts are made up of spherical bearings that help the pipeline to move freely and perpendicularly to the axes of the joint pins. The struts can be easily adjusted as tensioners.

The discharge from the hydraulic end also helps make up for the small construction discrepancies in the supporting bulkhead.

This is one of the many sites where we have used hydraulic tie rods and struts.
