About us
Ca.S.T.Im. Srl was founded in 1972 in Vezza d'Alba (Cuneo), Italy, and began manufacturing heat exchangers, pressure vessels, refrigeration system components, and metalwork for the petrochemical and energy sectors.
In 2000, a corporate restructuring led to the creation of Ca.STIm. 2000 Srl, which inherited all the know-how and technology from the existing company.
In 2002, Ca.S.T.Im.2000 Srl purchased the business unit, technology, and know-how for the spring support production line from Flexider SpA of Turin, thus expanding its product range and becoming a leading manufacturer of piping components with constant and variable supports, struts, shock absorbers, slide plates, and cryogenic supports.
At the end of 2025, the decision was made to embark on a new challenge, entering the Metal Expansion Joints business, building on the skills acquired through the addition of new collaborators, consolidated manufacturing processes, and market knowledge.

How we operate
Using state-of-the-art computer support and workshop equipment, our company is capable of designing industrial plant skids, piping supports, heat exchangers, atmospheric and pressurized tanks, and expansion joints. This is done in strict compliance with international construction standards such as ASME - ISPESL - U-STAMP - RINA, PED, and EJMA, using cutting-edge software such as CAD/CAM and Inventor for 3D design, programs for "thermodynamic and hydraulic calculations," "mechanical calculation of exchangers with Sant'Ambrogio software," and the new program for "Sizing of Piping Supports." Our projects are carried out both based on the client's construction drawings and on technical specifications verified and developed by us.
