About us

Ca.S.T.Im. S.r.l was founded in 1972 in Vezza d'Alba (Cuneo) Italy and began by building heat exchangers, pressure tanks, refrigeration system components, and metal fabrication for the petrochemical and energy industries.

In 2000, a corporate restructuring led to the birth of Ca.S.T.Im. 2000 S.r.l which acquired all the know-how and technology from the existing company.

In 2002, Ca.S.T.Im.2000 S.r.l bought the technology and know-how for spring mounts from the Turin branch of Flexider S.p.A, which expanded our production range and helped us become one of the main component production companies for piping with constant and variable supports, struts, shock absorbers, sliding plates and cryogenic supports.

Today we are able to design and build components ranging from:

• Industrial systems on skids for Power Plants - Refineries
• Atmospheric and Pressure Tanks
• Shell and tube heat exchanger
• Support for pipes
• Heavy fabrication and support structures

How we operate

Using the most modern IT support and the most modern workshop and factory equipment, our company is able to design "skids" for industrial systems, pipe supports, heat exchangers, as well as atmospheric and pressure tanks. We do this whilst following and respecting the most rigorous international construction standards such as ASME - ISPESL - U-STAMP - RINA, PED using up-to-date software such as CAD / CAM and Inventor for three-dimensional drawing, programmes for "Thermodynamic and hydraulic calculation", "Mechanical exchanger calculations using Sant'Ambrogio software", and a new programme for "Calculating pipe support sizes". Our projects are carried out by using both our client's construction drawing as well as technical specifications developed and checked by us, ourselves.
